I aim to support and empower women to live the life they most want to live using counselling and psychotherapy.
It may be that you are not yet sure if counselling is for you.
Perhaps you have never sought support before.
Maybe you don't know why you are struggling at the moment.
Or perhaps you have had therapy in the past and want to revisit the process again. Contact me to find out how I can support you.
About me and my practice
I specialise in working with women who want to be heard, understood and believed. I offer a non judgemental, respectful service where we can work together to enable you to live the life you most want to live.
Experience
For over 20 years I have worked exclusively in the supportive professions providing mental health and drug and alcohol support within the NHS, voluntary organisations and charities. I have experience facilitating a womens group and as a counsellor at a Womens Centre.
In 2019 I started out in private practice and now offer both in-person and online therapy from a village on the Leicestershire, Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire border, 2 minutes drive from the M1, j24a.
I work in a body positive and trauma informed way; and am comfortable in exploring non-white experiences
